ITEM DESCRIPTIONS:

CHEMO PORT SEAT BELT PILLOW:

* Our seat belt pillows are designed to attached to the seat belt and protect the surgical area from discomfort while driving.
* With the chemo port seat belt pillow, two straps attach to the seat belt securing the pillow so that it doesn’t move.
*The pillow provides a comfortable cushion without adding pressure to the surgery area.
*Pillows are machine washable in cold water and can be tumble dried on low. Washes best with velcro pieces closed and then pillows are placed inside a laundry bag while washing.
*Made with 100% cotton and filled with 100% polyester fiber fill.

QUEASY DROPS: Queasy Drops are an excellent way to ease the stomach and help with dry mouth as a result of chemo treatments. They are made with only natural ingredients, doctor recommended, drug free, and safe for kids and adults

RADIATION BALM We use Lindi Soothing Balm which is designed to sooth compromised skin, specifically for radiation burns and severe rashes.

NECK WRAPS AND EYE PILLOWS: The eye pillow is weighted and creates an amazing level of relaxation and calming while placed over the eyes while lying down. The neck wrap can be heated to help with muscle relaxation or chilled to help with inflammation (not just for the neck!). Both neck wraps and eye pillows can be purchased unscented or with lavender as aromatherapy.

* Eye Pillows: Approximately 4 1/2” x 9”, weight approximately 9 ounces
* Neck Wraps: Approximately 5” x 22”, weight approximately 22 ounces
*Heating in microwave helps to ease muscle aches and relieve stress.
*Chill in the freezer and apply to inflamed area to help reduce inflammation.
*Detailed direction for using and caring for the eye pillow and neck wrap are on the back of the labels.
*I use mostly soft 100% cotton or cotton flannel. They are also lined with 100% cotton. I use cotton because it is durable and can withstand the heating and freezing process.
*All pillows and wraps are double stitched, on the inside and outside. This is done to help ensure they maintain their structural integrity.
*The lining not only makes the pillows and wraps more durable, it also contributes to the easy flow and movement of the flaxseed. It allows them to easily mold to the area of use.

I USE ONLY ORGANIC FLAXSEED AND OPTIONAL ORGANIC LAVENDER… WHY?

*I prefer organic flaxseed so that toxic chemicals are not released when heated in the microwave.
*The flaxseed has a high oil base which enables it to retain heat longer than other commonly used fillers such as rice, buckwheat, corn, etc. Heat last approximately 30 - 45 minutes. It can also be microwaved over and over again.
*Flaxseed does not form hard clumps during the freezing process. Other commonly used fillers have a high water volume which causes clumping. The higher oil content in flaxseed keeps the seeds flowing smoothly and molds to the area of use.
