Losing hair is difficult for anyone. For a child who is struggling to understand what is happening, it is even more difficult. This kids head scarf is pre-tied. The fabric is a red tie dye pattern. Each scarf has fabric chosen for its appeal to children, whether it’s the fun patterns, cute characters, or pretty pattern and color. The fabrics are chosen specifically to help build the child’s self esteem and help the child express her individual interests and personality. It’s a perfect gift for a girl with hair loss. The scarf is fitted to one’s head for full coverage which makes it easy to put on and go. A tie is sewn as a band framing the face and then tying around elastic gathering.
If you know a child who is going through chemo treatments, we also carry a variety of chemo port seatbelt pillows which make riding in a car more comfortable. * Scarves are fitted to one’s head for full coverage.
*Pre-tied elastic gathering eliminates the need to tie and makes it easy to put on and go!

*Each Scarf is lined with 100% Cotton which is soft and breathable, making the scarf comfortable against one’s scalp.
*All fabric is washed (before sewing) with gentle, hypoallergenic detergent, which eliminates any chemicals that might have been used while processing and/or shipping fabric.
*The fabric is chosen to help the child express their individual interests and personality (sports, animals, flowers, butterflies, etc.)

GIFT WRAPPING can be added at check out for $5.00. I make handmade eco-friendly gift bags which hold 2 head scarves. All head scarves are wrapped in tissue paper with an optional handwritten note. To add gift wrap, simply check off that your item is a gift (at checkout). A box will appear for a gift wrapping option. Check off the gift wrapping option. If you would like a handwritten note, there is a box provided.

Privacy policy
In order to fulfill one's order, Etsy provides me with the following information: Customer's name, shipping name and address of the recipient, email address, information on which products ordered, as well as any notes written on the order that I would need to complete the order or reply to. I never receive any payment information other than a confirmation that the order has been paid for. I have never and will never share any of the customer's information that I receive without specific approval by the customer. I communicate to my customers through the Etsy messaging system. I never receive phone numbers and, therefore, will never call. The only exception to emailing is if the customer gives me the information and requests that I communicate with them via email. If I need to contact the buyer regarding their order, I will send a message through the Etsy message center. I take the privacy of my customers very seriously and work hard to maintain their trust with this policy.

Care instructions
The Mastectomy and Chemo Port Seat Belt Pillows are both machine washable in cold water, gentle cycle. They can also be tumble dried on gentle, low heat. They wash best when put in a laundry bag while washing. It is also best to close velcro straps before washing.
Eye Pillows, Neck Wraps, Boo Boo Bags and Hand Warmers can be spot cleaned. They cannot get wet.
Most head scarves for hair loss are made of Rayon Challis with 100% Cotton lining. They should be hand washed or machine washed gentle, cold water. Line dry or machine dry on low heat. Iron low to medium heat.
All Scrub Caps and Flannel Scarves are made of 100% cotton and can be machine washed and dried.
Custom and personalized orders
I am happy to work with customers on custom request orders, No commitment is made by the customer or myself until the order is placed.
*If you know that your head size is not typical and you have trouble finding a head cover that fits, please contact me. Sometimes I am able to adjust the size.
*If you would like a product in a different fabric design, please ask as I have many fabric options in my inventory.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Gift wrapping is available at an extra fee of $5.00. I make handmade fabric bags for gift wrapping. Two scarves, or one mastectomy pillow, or on mastectomy pillow plus one chemo port seat belt pillow, or two chemo port seat belt pillows will fit in each bag. Each item is also individually wrapped in tissue paper. I will personalize a note card for any gift (with or without gift wrapping) for no extra charge. A note on the order form stating what you would like written is all I would need.
What are the guidelines for International Custom Fees?
Shipments outside United States may be subject to additional customs fees. These fees vary per country and are the responsibility of the customer. I am currently only shipping to The United States and Canada.
