Children love our boo boo bags! They come in fun designs that are perfect for Easter Basket stuffers, or fillers. Our ouch pouches are a great answer to the bumps and bruises of little ones. The fun designs help ease the pain of their ouchies. When stored in the freezer, it makes it easy to reach in and grab the bag for instant use and pain relief.
They are made with soft, comfy cotton and are all fully lined and double stitched for quality and durability. I use organic flaxseed which will not clump in the freezer and retains heat when warmed in the microwave. You might want to purchase more than one (at a discount) so that they are readily available for more than one child or more than one injury.
SIZE:
Boo Boo Bags are approximately 4 1/2” x 4 1/2” and weigh approximately 5 ounces.
USES:
*Relieves pain and inflammation from everyday boo boos as well as the boo boos only the child can see.

WHY ORGANIC FLAXSEED?
*I prefer organic flaxseed so that toxic chemicals are not released when heated in the microwave.
*Flaxseed has a higher oil base which enables it to retain heat longer than other commonly used fillers such as rice, buckwheat, corn, etc. It can also be microwaved over and over again.
*Flaxseed does not form hard clumps during the freezing process. Other commonly used fillers have a high water volume which causes clumping. The higher oil content in flaxseed keeps the seeds flowing smoothly and molds easily around the boo boo.
WHY USE COTTON AND LINE THE BAGS?
*I use soft and comfy 100% cotton fabric. All bags are also lined with 100% cotton. I use cotton because it is durable and can withstand the heating and freezing process. They will also withstand the many uses of active children!
*All bags are lined and the seams are double stitched for quality and durability.
DIRECTIONS:
*Must be cooled in freezer for a couple of hours before using. It is best to keep stored in refrigerator when used for boo boos. Store in ziplock bag in freezer for immediate use and relief. Can be applied directly on skin.
*To use as hand warmers/pocket warmers or hot packs, place in clean microwave. Microwave for 10 - 15 second intervals, shaking between intervals.

In order to fulfill one's order, Etsy provides me with the following information: Customer's name, shipping name and address of the recipient, email address, information on which products ordered, as well as any notes written on the order that I would need to complete the order or reply to. I never receive any payment information other than a confirmation that the order has been paid for. I have never and will never share any of the customer's information that I receive without specific approval by the customer. I communicate to my customers through the Etsy messaging system. I never receive phone numbers and, therefore, will never call. The only exception to emailing is if the customer gives me the information and requests that I communicate with them via email. Care instructions
The Mastectomy and Chemo Port Seat Belt Pillows are both machine washable in cold water, gentle cycle. They can also be tumble dried on gentle, low heat. They wash best when put in a laundry bag while washing. It is also best to close velcro straps before washing.
Eye Pillows, Neck Wraps, Boo Boo Bags and Hand Warmers can be spot cleaned. They cannot get wet.
Most head scarves for hair loss are made of Rayon Challis with 100% Cotton lining. They should be hand washed or machine washed gentle, cold water. Line dry or machine dry on low heat. Iron low to medium heat.
All Scrub Caps and Flannel Scarves are made of 100% cotton and can be machine washed and dried.
Custom and personalized orders
I am happy to work with customers on custom request orders, No commitment is made by the customer or myself until the order is placed.
*If you know that your head size is not typical and you have trouble finding a head cover that fits, please contact me. Sometimes I am able to adjust the size.
*If you would like a product in a different fabric design, please ask as I have many fabric options in my inventory.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Gift wrapping is available at an extra fee of $5.00. I make handmade fabric bags for gift wrapping. Two scarves, or one mastectomy pillow, or on mastectomy pillow plus one chemo port seat belt pillow, or two chemo port seat belt pillows will fit in each bag. Each item is also individually wrapped in tissue paper. I will personalize a note card for any gift (with or without gift wrapping) for no extra charge. A note on the order form stating what you would like written is all I would need.
What are the guidelines for International Custom Fees?
Shipments outside United States may be subject to additional customs fees. These fees vary per country and are the responsibility of the customer. I am currently only shipping to The United States and Canada.
