ITEM DESCRIPTIONS:

MASTECTOMY PILLOW:

My mastectomy pillow was, by far, the best gift I received after my surgery. The pillow is used under one’s arm providing a cushion that helps ease the ache and discomfort in tender areas.

*Our mastectomy pillow has an adjustable ribbon belt enabling one to adjust the length to a comfortable position while keeping the pillow in place. This also allows one to use the pillow hands free.
*The pillow is machine washable in cold water and can be tumble dried on low. It is recommended to put the pillow in a laundry bag while washing and drying.
*Made with 100% cotton and filled with 100% polyester fiber fill.

CHEMO PORT SEAT BELT PILLOW:

Size: 5” x 10”

*Our seat belt pillows are designed to attach to one’s seat belt and protect tender areas from discomfort. The pillow provides a comfortable cushion without adding pressure.
*Each seat belt pillow has 2 - 3 straps which secure to the seatbelt with hidden velcro. The straps attach to the seatbelt securing the pillow so that it doesn’t move.
*All pillows are machine washable in cold water and can be tumble dried on low. They was best with velcro pieces closed and with the pillows placed inside a laundry bag (or pillow case) while washing and drying.
*Made with 100% cotton and filled with 100% polyester fiber fill.

QUEASY DROPS: Queasy Drops are an excellent way to ease the stomach and help with dry mouth as a result of chemo.

SOOTHING BALM: We use Lindi Soothing Balm which is designed to sooth compromised skin.

JOURNAL: Why journal? The act of writing one's thoughts down is a therapeutic way to help one heal and improve one's overall health. Research shows that spending just twenty minutes a day to write down thoughts have a positive effect on one's health. Journal covers might vary.

CANCER AWARENESS BRACELET: When going through treatments (and beyond), I always had something on me reflecting my support for cancer awareness. This cancer awareness bracelet is engraved with ribbons and the words "Support, Cure, Hope, Courage". It is approximately 9" in circumference and is sterling silver plated.

ADULT COLORING BOOK WITH COLORED PENCILS: I have included this coloring book because of the value of activities when going through
cancer treatments. Activities such as coloring help to distract the mind from the stress as a result of being diagnosed with cancer. *Coloring book styles may vary.

INSPIRATIONAL NOTE CARDS: These note cards have inspirational quotes for encouragement during this difficult time. The box includes 15 note cards and two wooden display stands. The cards can be displayed in various places throughout one's space. I would display mine on my mirror and on my refrigerator. Just seeing them would boost my spirits.

NECK WRAPS AND EYE PILLOWS:

Eye Pillows: Approximately 4 1/2” x 9”. Weight approximately 9 ounces.
Neck Wraps: Approximately 5” x 22”. Weight approximately 22 ounces.

The eye pillow creates an amazing level of relaxation and calming while placed over the eyes while lying down. The neck wrap can be heated to help with muscle relaxation or chilled to help with inflammation (not just for the neck!). Both pillows are filled with organic flax seed. All neck wraps and eye pillows can be purchased as unscented or with organic lavender for aromatherapy.

I use mostly 100% soft cotton or cotton flannel. They are all lined with 100% cotton. Cotton is used because it is durable and can withstand the heating and freezing process.
All Pillows and wraps are double stitched. This is done for quality and durability.
The lining not only makes the pillows and wraps more durable, it also contributes to the easy flow and movement of the flax seed. It allows them to easily mold to the area of use.

WHY ORGANIC FLAX SEED?

Flax seed has a high oil base which enables it to retain heat longer than other commonly used fillers such as rice, buckwheat, corn, etc. The heat lasts approximately 30 - 45 minutes. It can also be microwaves over and over again making it an eco friendly product.
Flax seed does not form hard clumps during the freezing process. Other commonly used fillers have a high water volume which causes clumping. The higher oil content in flax seeds keep the seeds flowing smoothly and molds to the area of use.
